Burning Quad 5K Brings Fast Course, Community Spirit, and Purpose to Erie on July 11

Submitted
Runners of all ages and abilities are invited to lace up their shoes for the inaugural Burning Quad 5K on Saturday, July 11th, starting from the Erie Police Department.

Held alongside the popular Burning Quad bike event, the new 5K offers a flat, fast course designed for both first-time runners and seasoned athletes chasing a personal best.

Whether participants are aiming to set a new PR, enjoy a fun morning with family and friends, or simply support a meaningful cause, the Burning Quad 5K provides an opportunity to be part of something bigger than the finish line.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Do Hard Things Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening men’s mental health through physical challenges, shared struggle, and supportive community.

Following the race, participants are encouraged to stick around and enjoy pancakes, fresh coffee, and the festival atmosphere as cyclists from across the Midwest tackle the Burning Quad bike routes.
