Thanks to the generosity of local residents and the dedication of area letter carriers, the shelves at the St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry are a little fuller.

During this year’s Letter Carrier Food Drive, community members came together to donate food to help neighbors facing food insecurity. By the end of the drive, 800 pounds of food had been collected and delivered to the pantry in Sterling.

Volunteers and organizers worked alongside dedicated letter carriers to gather, transport, and unload the donations, ensuring the food quickly made its way to families in need.

Officials with the pantry expressed their gratitude to everyone involved, saying the donations will help them continue serving the community and supporting local families.

“We could not fulfill our mission without all of you,” the organization shared in a statement. “We are so grateful for your support.”
