Upon arrival, deputies located a Subaru SUV overturned on its roof in the west ditch. The driver, identified as Senietta Porter, 81, of Morrison, Illinois, was assisted from the vehicle by deputies and emergency medical personnel.
Porter was transported to Morrison Community Hospital and was later airlifted to a regional trauma center due to the severity of her injuries.
The Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Erie Police Department, Morrison Community Hospital Ambulance, Morrison Fire Department, MedForce Aeromedical Transport, and Midwest Towing.
