The dinner will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 10 and younger. Tickets may be purchased at the church office, which is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by calling 815-772-2472.
The evening program will follow at 7 p.m. in the church sanctuary and is free and open to the public.
Featured speaker Mrs. Aubrey (Munson) Krueger of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, formerly of Sterling, will share her personal story of hope and healing. Shortly after the birth of her first child, Krueger experienced postpartum psychosis, a rare mental health disorder. Over the course of five years, she faced significant struggles while relying on the support of her family and her faith in God to find restoration and healing.
Krueger has since begun a new career ministering to women of all ages through therapy and dance movement. Her organization, RISE UP AGAIN, focuses on encouraging women through faith and recovery. Organizers said attendees will hear a message of hope and faith in Christ through her testimony.
Community members are invited to attend both the dinner and program or attend only the free program at 7 p.m.
