The program, Stories and Reflections on the SVCC Impact Program, will offer a student-centered look at one of the region’s most impactful educational initiatives.
For years, college and community leaders have recognized the Impact Program as a powerful force for change in the Sauk Valley. This Lunch & Learn shifts the spotlight directly to the students who know it best. Impact students will share personal stories and reflections on how the program has shaped their educational journeys, helped them overcome challenges, and built the confidence and skills needed to succeed in college, careers, and as future community leaders.
The discussion will provide an authentic look at why the Impact Program matters – not only as an access initiative, but as a catalyst for long-term economic growth and a stronger future for the region.
The event is free for Discover Dixon members. Nonmembers may attend for $25. Lunch will be served.
