Alice was born September 2, 1944, in Minturn, Arkansas, the daughter of Ed and Lola (Collins) Vinson. She attended Sterling schools and Sauk Valley Community College. She was employed by CGH Medical Center prior to her retirement.
Alice enjoyed learning, sharing ideas, and engaging in lively discussions, especially with her cherished friends and family.
Survivors include two daughters, Lori (Larry) Mullesch of Rock Falls and Whitney (Mike) Anderson of Chicago; three sons, Brett Marks of Arizona, Erik Bartlett of Rock Falls, and Sean Bartlett of Rock Falls; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Mattie (Dave) Jacobs of Sterling; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, James, Paul, Bud, and Skip Vinson; and four sisters, Sally Hartman, Pat Marks, Ann Ceplina, and Sue Clark.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026, at the Rock Falls Eagles Club FOE from 2:00 – 5:00 PM. Arrangements were completed by the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls.
