He was born on May 25, 1960, in Germany, the son of Stanley and Katharina (Stiller) Dale. AJ worked as a chef at the CSI and Roadhouse in Sublette. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
AJ is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Christina Dale, and son, Harold Dale. He is survived by his wife, Kim Stiens of Dixon; Damian (Greer) Stiens; Charles (Mike) Stiens; one grandson, Andreas H. Dale; and one brother, Mike Dale of Colorado.
Cremation rites have been accorded, with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Burial of cremated remains with military honors will take place at a later date at sea in Norfolk, VA. Arrangements by the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon.
