She was born on February 26, 1955, in San Diego, CA, the daughter of John Henry and Eva I. (Johnson) Fritz. She attended St. Andrew Grade School and Newman Central Catholic High School. Debra married Edwin Wade on July 26, 1980, in St. Andrew Church, Rock Falls. She had worked at Antec in Rock Falls for 25 years and as an LPN for Gaffey Home Nursing for 10 years. Deb also had worked at other area health care facilities in her career. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sterling.
Survivors include her husband, Ed; son, CJ (Kara) Wade of Sterling; daughter Betony (Coty) Gluff of Prophetstown; brother, Terry (Theresa) Fritz of Rock Falls; and grandchildren: Quentin and Everly Wade; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 11 – 12 Noon at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rock Falls. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 Noon.
