Jolene was born on January 9, 1953, in Princeton the daughter of Vernon and Myrtle (Davis) Dennison. She married James A. Chalupnik on September 22, 2006. He preceded her in death on September 30, 2011. Jolene was employed as a CNA retiring from Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Prophetstown. She loved spending time around her pool, gardening, and her Yorkies, Angus, Myrtle and Louie. Jolene was an avid St. Louis Cardinalsi9 fan and loved lighthouses.
Survivors include, 1 son, Brian (Becki) Strike of Prophetstown; 2 sisters, Verna Lee Sheffler of Tampico and Barbara (Clare) Burke of Peoria; 2 grandsons, Reece (Autumn) Strike and Noah (Riley) Strike; 3 step-grandchildren, Ryley (Allie Lyons) Gallentine, Rubey (Isaak Shetler) Gallentine and Garrett Gallentine; 2 great-grandchildren, Weston Strike and Brecken Westpfahl.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister, Beverly Waite.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were completed by the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is established to Allure of Prophetstown.
