Juan was born on December 10, 1951, in Robstown, TX, the son of Rosario Rocha, Sr. and Joaquina Martinez Alvarado. He was employed at IBP in Joslin for many years and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Sterling. Juan enjoyed listening to Tejano music, loved playing dominoes and cards, and was a great dancer. He lived life to the fullest.
He is survived by two daughters, Cenida (Alfredo) Rocha of Sterling and Veronica Rocha of San Antonio, TX; one son, Juan L. Rocha, Jr. of Sterling; one sister, Nelda (Efren) Rojas of AL; one brother, Rosario, Jr. (Esther) Rocha of Sterling; and four grandchildren, Taylor A. Matznick, Joshua Gabriel Perez, Xavian J. Rocha, and Jaxen D. Morua.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Amador Rocha and Noe Luna; four sisters, Hilda Rocha, Nicolosa Mireles, Elena Rocha, and Naomi Sustaita; one niece, Mary Sandoval; and one nephew, Ricky Garcia.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
