Leon was born May 23, 1964, in Searcy, AR, the son of Leon Lane and Clarissa Faye (White) Haas. He enjoyed woodworking and crafting and was referred to as The Master Refurbisher. Leon had a story for everything, so he was nicknamed “Ramblin Rose”.
He is survived by two sons, Nathan Hutchins of Sterling and Nicolas Lane of DeKalb; two half-sisters, Tina Landes and Marla Morris of St. Charles; and one grandson, Gavin Nelson Lane.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Faye Haas; one sister, Chrissy Bea; and his grandmother, Martha Holden “Granny”.
