Lurk was born April 14, 1959, in Sterling, the son of Andy, Sr., and Irene (Anspach) Miller. He married Patricia Gilbert on August 25, 2005, in Oregon. Lurk was employed at Covia in Oregon for 25 years. He was a member of Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls and enjoyed fishing, boating, working, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Gilbert Miller of Rock Falls; one step-daughter, Becky (Bill) Kochsmier of Leaf River; one step-son, Chris (Jeannie) Miller of Greenfield, IN; two sisters, Jana (Rick) House and Jill Miller both of Sterling; three brothers, Andy Miller, Jr. of CA, Dirk Miller of Sterling, and Kirt Miller of Aurora; 6 step grandchildren, Ryan, Maddie (Bradley Fuller), McKenzie (Gavin Kemerly), Austin, Ayden, and Faith; one great granddaughter, Ellie, who was the apple of his eye; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bruce Miller; one sister-in-law, Fran Miller; one nephew, Nicholas; and one step-grandson, Caden.
At his request, there are no services. Cremation rites will be accorded.
