Michael was born on March 3, 1952, in Gladwin, MI, the son of James and Florence (Stewart) Moore. He married Judith Garber on December 17, 2000, in MI. Michael was employed as a produce manager and a meat cutter. He was an outgoing “people person” and was professional in all he did. He attended the Milledgeville Brethren Church.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Moore of Milledgeville; his daughter, Cristy Moore of Detroit, MI; his son, Jesse Moore of Detroit, MI; his brother, Robert (Jane) Moore of Essexville, MI; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Peggy and Carol.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Milledgeville Brethren Church with Pastor Jim Black officiating. A luncheon will be served at noon at the church before the service starts.
A memorial has been established to the Milledgeville Fire Department.
