She was born July 15, 1941, in Mendota, the daughter of Leo Jr. and Cecelia (Salz) Bulfer. Pat had worked at the Mendota Hospital and Plano Molding in Mendota. She was an avid camper at LaChateau Park, a member of the 40&8 for over 30 years. She was also the Aumônier for LaFemmes and a teddy bear collector.
Pat married Harold J. Stenzel on Nov. 11, 1960, in Sublette. He preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Donald and Tom Stenzel, one grandchild, sister Cindy (Dennis) Jones, one brother, Robert Bulfer, and one brother-in-law, Harold Pettit.
Pat is survived by her children Barb (Ed) Henkel, John (Kimberly) Stenzel, Delbert (Janelle) Stenzel, all of Sublette, Donna Unrath of Amboy, grandchildren Ben Stenzel, Mike Stenzel, Cory (Sarah) Henkel, Erin (Lane) Mauch, Marissa (Kevin Pedersen) Henkel, and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Norma (Albert) Borell, Betty (David) Dillon, Helen Pettit, and sister-in-law Pauline Bulfer.
Cremation rites have been accorded, with burial of cremains at a later date in St Mary Cemetery in Maytown. A memorial has been established.
