Paul was born on March 31, 1971, in Morrison, the son of Larry Tichler and Consuelo Montiel (Castro). He was employed with Allied Locke Industries for several years. Paul was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Sterling.
Survivors include his mother, Consuelo (Rey) Montiel of Sterling; his father, Larry Tichler of Morrison; and half-sister, Ashley (Daniel) Deuth of Foreston.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Victoria Diaz.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, April 6, 2026, at the McDonald Funeral Home in Sterling. Graveside rites will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at Calvary Cemetery in Sterling.
