Ricky was born on October 2, 1960, in Jacksonville, IL, the son of Archie and Connie (McCormick) Brockhouse. He married Connie Fogel on April 17, 2003, in Iowa. Ricky was an SIU graduate who worked at Elkay and Dan Foss as an engineer, retiring in 2021. He enjoyed tractor pulling, spending time with his friends at the Route 40 Café in Milledgeville, and was an avid Badger State fan. He also volunteered on the Carroll County Fair Board. Ricky was a very giving person who would do anything for anyone.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Brockhouse of Milledgeville; his father, Archie Brockhouse; one sister, Cindy (Craig) Schmitz of Meredosia; two nephews, Josh and Seth; two great nieces, Maci and Karsyn; two great nephews, Eli and Kolton; four step children, Curt Eubanks, Darrin Eubanks, Ryan (Kesha) Lott, and Rebecca (Joe) Green; and seven step grandchildren, Collin, Connor, Cameron, Colton, Mariah, Payton, Jenna, and Jocelyn.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
A private ceremony will be held for family.
