He was born on Oct. 24, 1950, in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of Gerald and Altena (Denning) Brooks.
Robert was an Engineer working on the top drives of Oil Drilling Rigs all over the United States prior to his retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Robert is survived by his sister, Carolyn Griffin of Rock Falls.
Cremation rites have been accorded, with no services planned at this time.
