She was born on Aug. 14, 1993, in Macomb, the daughter of Howard Patrick Harris and Karen Sears. Tina earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics and statistics from Northern Illinois University in 2015 with university honors. She worked as a teacher’s aide at Edison Elementary School in Macomb. Tina enjoyed cooking, 3D puzzles, painting and sketching, archery, gardening, and her two cats. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers.
Tina is survived by her fiancé Frankie Mason, father Pat Harris, mother Karen Sears, siblings Jessica (Zach) Franklin, Kenneth (Jennifer) Harris, nieces and nephews, Lydia, Carter, Alaina, Savannah, Tyler, Lucas, Nicholas, grandmothers Barbara Harris and Jacqueline Sears, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy, with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation rites are to follow with burial of cremains at Prairie Repose Cemetery to take place at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to The Elms Nursing Home and MDH Hospice, both in Macomb, IL.
