The interactive session will be led by Karla Belzer of the University of Illinois Extension and will provide participants with practical tools that can be immediately applied in the workplace. Attendees are welcome to participate individually or bring coworkers or an entire team for a shared learning experience.
The workshop is also beneficial for those who have previously taken personality assessments such as the Real Colors, Enneagram, or DISC profiles. Participants will have the opportunity to revisit their results and explore how their communication and leadership styles may have evolved over time.
The event will be held on Wednesday, April 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Arts Academy.
Registration costs $35 for SVACC members and $65 for non-members. The fee includes the Real Colors personality assessment, tools that can be used immediately in the workplace, networking opportunities, and a catered lunch.
Seating is limited. Those interested are encouraged to register online, call the Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce at 815-625-2400, or reply to the event email to secure a spot. The Real Colors assessment will be emailed to participants prior to the event, and attendees are reminded to confirm their email address during registration to ensure they receive the assessment materials.
The workshop offers an opportunity for individuals and teams to invest in personal development while strengthening workplace communication and collaboration.
