The community-wide event will take place May 15–17, with participants able to set their own sale dates and times throughout the weekend. Organizers note the event typically attracts more than 2,500 shoppers, providing strong visibility for those looking to sell items.
Residents can register online at www.rockfallschamber.com/garagesales or in person at the Rock Falls Library. A $10 regular ad ($11 online) includes an address listed on the official map, while a $20 feature ad ($22 online) includes both the address and a short description of items for sale, with 25–30 words recommended.
The registration deadline is May 3. Late registration will be accepted May 4–10 with a $5 late fee. Event maps will be available online beginning May 14.
The annual garage sales provide an opportunity for residents to clean out unwanted items while drawing shoppers from across the area. A Facebook event page is also available for those looking to follow updates and connect with other participants.
