Building Code Committee Meeting

Location: Council Chambers, 603 W. 10th Street, Rock Falls
The agenda includes approval of the December 3, 2025, meeting minutes, a report from the Building Inspector, and several new business items. Committee members will consider transferring jurisdiction and control of 1207 W. 23rd Street to the Industrial Development Commission, a request from Jeff Moore for fence materials at 2500 1st Avenue, and approval of Attorney Will Lee as a backup for administrative hearings.
The next regular Building Code Committee meeting is scheduled for March 4, 2026, at 5:15 p.m.
Public Works/Public Property Committee Meeting
Date: Wednesday, February 5, 2026
Time: 8:15 a.m.
Location: Council Chambers, 603 W. 10th Street, Rock Falls
The committee will review the January 8, 2026, meeting minutes and hear reports from City Engineer Corey Buck and Street Department Superintendent Dave Miller. New business includes consideration of a Motor Fuel Tax supplemental resolution for the 2026 General Maintenance program in the amount of $400,000 for chip seal and hot mix asphalt road work.
Additional discussion items include the sale of equipment, pricing on dump trucks #305 and #309, and future road programs. City Administrator Robbin Blackert will also provide updates.
