The first performance will be held Saturday, July 11, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at RB&W Park in Rock Falls. A second concert is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Page Park in Dixon.
Both “Big Band Night” concerts will feature vocalist Patty Balayti performing classic standards, including “It’s Only a Paper Moon,” “Orange Colored Sky,” “Blue Skies,” and more.
Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening of live music featuring favorites made famous during the Big Band Era by artists such as Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, and others.
Both concerts are free and open to the public.
