Submitted
Young America's Foundation will host its Freedom at 250 Block Party on Friday, July 17, at the Reagan Boyhood Home, featuring keynote remarks from Governor Scott Walker, Fox News Host Rachel Campos-Duffy, Lt. Col. Allen West, and Dr. Burt Folsom.

The community celebration with more than 500 guests will include live music from Jet Jurgensmeyer, food trucks, and many other activities for students and the community to enjoy.

Held in President Ronald Reagan’s hometown of Dixon, Illinois, the Freedom at 250 Block Party will bring together students, families, and community members for an evening celebrating America’s founding ideals and Reagan’s enduring legacy in celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary.

The Block Party is part of Young America’s Foundation’s broader Freedom at 250 initiatives. Throughout the week, YAF is also hosting its July High School Conference and Middle School Expedition, where students from across the country are studying Reagan’s legacy and America’s founding principles through leadership training, classroom instruction and visits to historic Reagan sites in Dixon.

The conference theme, “Freedom at 250” will challenge students to deepen their understanding of America’s founding principles, strengthen their leadership skills and prepare them to defend free speech, free enterprise, religious liberty and the Constitution in their schools and communities.
