The program will be held at the Whiteside County Extension Office on July 27, 28, and 29, and August 3, 4, and 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for youth ages 7-14.
Throughout the series, participants will discover different movement styles in a welcoming environment that encourages self-expression, creativity, and physical activity. Whether learning new dance moves, exploring rhythm, or participating in interactive movement activities, youth will enjoy an energetic experience that promotes both physical and emotional well-being.
Get Up and Dance offers participants the opportunity to improve coordination, build confidence, and connect with others through movement-based activities. The program is designed for all experience levels, making it an excellent introduction to dance and creative movement.
The cost to participate is $15 per youth.
Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged at go.illinois.edu/sterlingdance.
